If 45% of paper, 60% of cardboard and 70% of plastic were recovered for recycling, estimate the energy content on dry weight basis and on ash free dry basis. During the preliminary study, ash content of the waste was found to be 4%. You are also being asked to suggest if the waste can be used for generating energy by using incinerator with a design value of 15MJ/kg.
