The angles between the exit ducts and the horizontal duct are 30◦ . The duct area at section 1 is A1 = 0.02 m2 , and at sections 2 and 3 are A2 = A3 = 0.008 m2 . The pressure at section 1 is p1 = 135000 N m−2 , and the volumetric flow rates at sections 2 and 3 are Q2 = Q3 = 275 m3 h −1 .
