Two streams of H2O are mixed to form feed to boiler (stream A is 120 kg/ min at 30 °C and stream B is 175 kg/ min at °65 C). The existing streams emerges from the boiler through 6 cm I.D pipe. Calculate the required heat input to the boiler in KJ/min. If the system leaving is saturated steam at pressure 17 bar neglect kinetic energy of inlet stream. Given that H^A = 125.7 KJ/Kg, H^B = 217 KJ/Kg, outlet stream has H^ = 2793 KJ/Kg, V^g = 0.1166 m3/Kg?
